Join the Kenya Chapter

The Kenya Chapter was formed in 2019 and meets regularly to share best practice and know-how. It is run by Nicodemus Ndeti, the National Coordinator, with the help of Christiano Oduol, the Deputy National Coordinator.

They are volunteer HLA members based in Kenya, with responsibility to expand the aims and objectives of the association. Local activities include formal or informal meetings, workshops, and seminars to discuss sharing of information and knowledge in the humanitarian logistics sector.

Nicodemus has over 15 years’ logistics experience in both the humanitarian and private sector,  including the UN, international NGO’s and multi-national logistics companies.

He has an advanced Diploma in logistics/transport and warehousing from the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (CILT UK), an advanced Diploma in Project Planning & Management from Hampton College, and a Masters Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology in Kenya.

Christiano Oduol, Deputy National Coordinator Kenya

Christiano’s skills and experience cover accountancy, software, humanitarian logistics and training, for the UN/UNICEF, national Kenyan NGO’s and various commercial companies. He has been deployed in Kenya, Somalia and Uganda. Christiano holds certificates and memberships of the Certified Public Accountants of Kenya, the Kenya Institute of Management, and the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (UK).
