Logistics Learning Alliance Ltd (LLA) has been pleased to work with the Humanitarian Logistics Association for over 10 years. LLA is an internationally recognised provider of Logistics and Supply Chain learning programmes to both humanitarian and commercial organisations. As a global training provider, LLA has over 1,000 registered students in over 120 countries across six continents. LLA are the learning delivery partner of the Fritz Institute/CILT Humanitarian Logistics and Supply Chain Certification Programmes (HLCP). These unique Certifications focus on the world of humanitarian aid and specifically attest the competence of the logistics and supply chain functions within humanitarian organisations to achieve their aims and support people in need.

Certification in Humanitarian Logistics (CHL) is aimed at people who work (or aspire to work) within humanitarian aid organizations in (or interacting with) supply functions, typically involving warehousing, transport and/or inventory. CHL combines best practices in supply chain management and implementation from the humanitarian community, commercial world, and academia, covering 7 units. This course can also be studied in French. Certification in Humanitarian Supply Chain Management (CHSCM) is aimed at humanitarian logisticians who are operating at a tactical level and are engaged in planning, resourcing and managing the supply chain and the implementation of supply chain strategy offers best practices in supply chain management from the humanitarian community, in combination with leading practices from the commercial sector and academia, in order to teach the essential planning and management skills required of humanitarian logistics managers. For details click here.

Certification in Humanitarian Medical Logistics Practices (MedLog) is aimed at experienced logisticians and medical specialists handing the medical supply within humanitarian organizations. The self-paced distance learning is designed specifically for those presently working (or planning to work) in the cold chain or operational supply chain positions within humanitarian organizations. CILT Awards in Cash Transfer Programming (CTP) are designed for those who need to have a greater understanding of how to implement Cash Transfer programmes and for Graduates of the CHL or CHSCM programmes. For details click here.

Humanitarian Essentials Logistics Module (HELM)
LLA also offers Humanitarian Essentials Logistics Module (HELM) – as a development programme covering the essential functions and roles within humanitarian logistics and the supply chain. HELM is designed for those wanting to refresh their logistics and supply chain knowledge, or as an induction to the Certification programmes.
