Paul Lotay is the CEO of Centrale Humanitaire Médico-Pharmaceutique (CHMP), an DG-ECHO HPC and USAID Qualified Wholesaler, established in 1992, with the goal of ensuring the availability of the highest quality health products to global humanitarian programs. As CEO, Paul has been at the
forefront of integrating solutions to optimize supply chain efficiency to improve response capacity for crisis-affected areas. CHMP  has strong focus on Quality Assurance, Risk Management, and Continual Improvement. CHMP continues to leverage innovation, to ensure timely, and reliable
delivery of life-saving health products to vulnerable populations. A strong advocate for strategic partnerships, Paul is dedicated to fostering collaborations across the humanitarian, public, and private sectors, to ensure sustainable and scalable health solutions and interventions in the digital age.

Charles Otine (PhD)

Innovation Manager UNICEF Kenya

Charles is the Innovation Manager at UNICEF Kenya and is responsible for implementing innovative and technology for development initiatives to improve the lives of children and young people. Charles has overseen many innovation projects in UNICEF and in the wider UN including in education, health & nutrition, protection and emergencies. Most recently he has lead project Giga – an ambitious global initiative by UNICEF and ITU to connect every school to the internet and provide young people with access to information, opportunity, and choice. He also advises on digital platforms for youth engagement, empowerment and supporting youth transition from learning to work. Before joining UNICEF in Kenya, he worked with UNICEF in Tanzania as an Innovation Specialist implementing programmes for young people and real-time information systems to reach women and children.

Charles  holds a PhD and Licentiate Degree in Technology from BTH in Sweden, MSc in Computer Science from Makerere University, and a graduate from the University of Dar es Salaam.

Bureau, Nairobi. Her role entails providing technical support to ten country operations within
the Eastern Africa region on their environmental challenges. Gladys is team lead on the waste
management workstream.

He is a trained Bilateral and Multilateral Trade Negotiator. Ogambi has over 20 years’ experience working in the Private Sector. He previously worked at the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nairobi in various capacities and as a Chief  Executive Officer, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mombasa and as an Associate Consultant, Private Enterprise Development Consultant (PEDCO)

Chair of the Internet of Production Alliance

Andrew Lamb is the Chair of the Internet of Production Alliance which focuses on creating
systems for networks of local manufacturers to join together and win large manufacturing contracts.At the Humanitarian Logistics Association, he leads work on local procurement and co-founded the Local Procurement Learning Partnership. His background is in humanitarian innovation and he is based in London, UK, and works mainly in Africa and South Asia.

Allan Kilakah MASAVAH

Currently serving at IFRC Regional office Nairobi, Kenya as – Head, Global Humanitarian Services and Supply Chain Management, Africa Regional

More than 10 years’ experience in the Humanitarian Logistics sector both in development and emergency contexts at national level and international level. Began my humanitarian career at the Kenya Red Cross as a relief and logistics volunteer supporting small scale response in Nairobi, Kenya. Later seconded by Kenya Red Cross as volunteered to German and Finnish Red Cross, Emergency Response Unit Teams during 2006 Kenya Floods based in Garissa and Tana River Districts then.

During the same period Kenya Red Cross seconded me to IFRC to support 2007 Uganda Floods, on coming back home I was recruited in 2007/08 by Kenya Red Cross for the position Regional Logistics officer under Kenya Post Election Violence Operation supported by International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC).

Geoffrey Osubo

UNICEF Logistics Specialist Mogadishu, Somalia

Geoffrey has 20 years’ experience working with UNICEF in Somalia, South Sudan, Syria, Middle East and North Africa Regional Office, Kenya and Operation lifeline Sudan in the area of supply chain management in various operational and programming contexts including in highly complex emergencies in various capacities. I led capacity building initiatives on warehousing and inventory management, supply information management systems and on supply chain system strengthening in various UNICEF Country Offices across the world targeting both UNICEF staff, Government and (I)NGO Partners. As part of his current assignment with UNICEF in Somalia, he is leading the supply and logistics  team in the digitalization initiative of strengthening the supply chain management up to the last mile. Before joining UNICEF, he worked in the private sector in the United Kingdom and Kenya in the areas of Marketing and investment financing.

Geoffrey holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Wales Cardiff – United Kingdom, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Barkatullah University – India and Certifications in Humanitarian Logistics, Field Warehouse and Inventory Management from the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport – United Kingdom and a Certification in Medical Logistics in Pandemics from Help Logistics.

Christine Muthinja, a Regional Sales Manager at Mezzanine, plays a key role in managing client relationships, overseeing deployments, and ensuring smooth operations. She is passionate about driving change and believes in the power of
technology to address real-world problems.

With a background in technology, Christine has experience in systems deployment, working with Integrated Building Management Systems (IBMS) andFirewalls. At Mezzanine, she combines her technical expertise with her passion for creating impactful solutions, particularly in sectors like agriculture and healthcare. Christine’s personal belief aligns with Mezzanine’s mission to improve the lives oflast-mile beneficiaries. One of her significant projects involves supporting Kenya’s
National Value Chain Support Program by enhancing food security, specifically byproviding subsidized fertilisers to farmers. This initiative helps rural farmers accesscrucial resources to improve their livelihoods. One of her ultimate goals is tobridge the gap between technology and human needs. Christine was also involved in the team honored at the Vodacom CEO Awards 2024 for their exceptional contribution. The recognition highlighted their pivotal role in assisting the Kenyan government with a vouchering solution to distribute
subsidized fertiliser supporting smallholder farmers nationwide.

Christine holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Technology and a Master’s
from Kenyatta University in Climate Change and Sustainability.

Isaac Waweru

Isaac Waweru

Isaac is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in global health supply chain management, pharmaceutical systems strengthening, and pharmacovigilance. He has successfully led initiatives to optimize health supply chains and improve procurement systems across emergency and complex environments. His expertise includes stakeholder engagement, regulatory compliance, capacity building, and data-driven decision-making, with a focus on ensuring timely access to essential health commodities.

 Currently, he serves as a Pharmacy Technical Advisor with the International Rescue Committee (IRC), where I spearhead pharmaceutical management tools, conduct organizational assessments, and lead capacity-building efforts in local teams. He has worked in diverse humanitarian contexts, including emergency response operations with organizations like Save the Children and MSF, and has contributed to publications on non-communicable disease kits in humanitarian emergencies.

His background is Pharmacy, and he holds a Master’s in Global Health as well as specialized certifications in Humanitarian Supply Chain Management, and Medical Logistics Practices. Isaac is deeply committed to improving health supply chain operations to enhance response efforts in humanitarian crises.
