HLA was an exhibitor at AidEx Brussels 2016. Our stand was a popular stop much thanks to the workshop on the previous day, but also to our partners’ great support throughout two exciting days of engagement and learning.

At the HLA stand:

CHL and Medlog – Our long-time partners, the Logistics Learning Alliance (LLA), supported our team with much sought-after information on the HLA-accredited CILT/LLA humanitarian logistics courses directly from Peter Jones, LLA’s Managing Director and an experienced trainer.

RedR UK exhibiting Mission Ready and KnowledgePoint – Certainly one of our stand’s points of interest was RedR UK’s set up where visitors could test their online services – the Mission Ready field security courses and KnowledgePoint.

EU Aid Volunteers Initiative – Our partner, the European Guild and ECHO’s EU Aid Volunteers team also kindly joined us to promote the initiative, attracting many aspiring volunteers to our booth and allowing them to exchange with professional logisticians.

Our stand team also had the chance to attend the many events at the exhibition, mostly on the 2016 theme, Localisation. The question at hand was how to use innovation locally and ensure the usefulness of a product in each local context. We were also inspired by the number of companies and stakeholders, who were passionate about the issue.

HLA would like to thank all of our stand partners as well as the AidEx steering committee for supporting such a successful exhibition. And thank you for stopping by our stand to greet us, learn our projects and join our membership!
