2009 CHL Scholarship Awards

Fritz Institute Announces Ten Scholarship Recipients for Certification in Humanitarian Logistics Course to Increase Professional Skills of Logisticians Working in the humanitarian supply chain.

Fritz Institute is pleased to announce the award of ten (10) scholarships for the Fritz Institute/CILT (UK) Certificate in Humanitarian Logistics (CHL) of £1145 each.

CHL was developed by Fritz Institute along with its humanitarian partners ICRC, IRC, MSF-Holland, Oxfam GB, Save the Children US, UNHCR, UNICEF, and WFP, with funding from DFID, ECHO and USAID, Fritz Institute and its private donors, with the goal to increase the professional skills of logisticians in the humanitarian supply chain, thereby raising the effectiveness of emergency response to vulnerable populations worldwide.

 

The scholarship recipients are:

  • Ano Assemian, Action Contre la Faim (ACF), Cote d'Ivoire

  • Achille Katho Kodjo, International Rescue Committee (IRC), Democratic Republic of Congo
  • Kenneth Masangano, Mines Advisory Group, Sudan
  • Clarisse Mekongo, Fédération Internationale des Sociétés de la Croix-Rouge et du Croissant-Rouge, Cameroun
